If you are going to be in Prison Ministry you will have to be trained by the State of Texas on security matters.The training generally lasts about 3 or 4 hours. You must submit an application to be trained. The state will send you a letter saying that you are approved for training and will send a list places where that training can be done. The buttons below will allow you to print the form to request training. It might take as long as 30-45 days from the date of your application until you get your letter. However, if you give your application to the rector they can sometimes speed up the process by sending them as a batch to Huntsville.
