Prayer Chain Suggestions for Bartlett Unit
It's not the purpose of this page to give you instruction on how to pray.
We strongly feel that each person is lead by the Holy Spirit in prayer. We
merely offer a few suggestions that might help you if you have not spent a half
hour in intercessory prayer before.
- Use your back arrow to go to the "Prayer List" section, and print them out

- Check the Schedule to see what is happening on the Weekend during the time
you will be praying... remember that the team maintains their own 24 hour
vigil so even if nothing is scheduled you can pray for the team member in
prayer.
- Make a note on your calendar and set your clock to alert you to time you
have agreed to pray. If you miss your 'time' please pray anyway, it is
the intercessory prayer that makes a difference, not the time.
- Choose a comfortable place to pray that should allow you to not be
interrupted. A half hour of prayer can seem like a long time or a
blink of the eye depending on the circumstances. However it is easier
if you are comfortable, although you don't want to fall asleep.
- Some folks like to have Christian music while praying
- Some like to have a favorite Bible passage or meditation help get in the proper mood.
- Some folks have used pictures from previous weekends as a focus point
to help 'visualize' those on the weekend.
- Please pray for each person on the list as the Holy Spirit leads you.
- If you can't access the web site, or find someone to print out the names
for you, don't worry, God knows who you are praying for, and your prayers
will be heard.
